Kalika
Yap - the "super" CEO | kalika@citrusstudios.comNative of Honolulu. Founder and CEO of the web design firm, Citrus Studios.
After graduating from NYU with a degree in journalism, Kalika worked for several media firms including Bloomberg & CNBC.
Kalika started her web career in 1996 at the Los Angeles Culture Net, a collaborative initiative project of the Getty Information Institute and California Culture Net. There she helped develop web curriculum, web site design workshops for individual artists, non-profits, art & educational institutions and students K-12.
She later moved to the J. Paul Getty Trust as a Web Developer as part of the Getty’s Web Services division of the Information Technology Services Department. There, she helped manage and develop the main Getty web site (www.getty.edu) and five separate Getty institution web sites including: the Museum, the Grant Program, the Getty Research Institute, Getty Information Institute, and the Getty Education Institute.
Kalika has been featured on CNN and was a web design columnist for Silicon Salley.
Kalika is an avid runner and has completed seven marathons in Los Angeles, New York and Long Beach. Kalika dances Hula, practices calligraphy, and makes fabulous collages and scrapbooks.
Kalika loves letterpressed notecards & stationery, scented coconut pineapple candles, citrus smoothies & reading.
Kalika received this year's Rising Star Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners. The awards ceremony also featured a short video on Kalika.

Ruben has seven years experience working as a project manager, web designer & developer in the advertising, museum, spa, and medical technologies industry. His experience in design and development helps streamline communication between client and the design team. Ruben enjoys golfing, singing karaoke and playing guitar for his wife and kids. He studied Communications at University of California, Santa Barbara.

Graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. Lisa is a New York City native and a 7 year veteran of the shoe industry. She spent her last 4 years in the business as a designer for Nine West. Lisa left the cyclic world of fashion to indulge her love for the ever changing visual elements in the fast moving world of technology.
