California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowships
Citrus Studios is pleased to announce the launch of the redesigned California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowships (CEHJF) Web site.
CEHJF, a program funded by the California Endowment, is part of the USC Annenberg School for Communication, another Citrus client. The goal of the CEHJF Web site is "to become the definitive source for creative ideas, resources, and tools for journalists with a passion for covering health issues in today's multicultural America." Citrus was brought in to improve CEHJF's entire Web presence--from look and feel, to navigation, to technical infrastructure.
The updated design is clean, sharp, and concise, reflecting the tenets of medical reporting as a discipline. Medical chart gridlines, a recurring background image, add a subtle yet sophisticated design element--one very much in keeping with the overall theme. This is a site filled with substantive content, and Citrus' design ensures that that material is front-and-center, easily accessible to all visitors. In addition to the site itself, Citrus designed a new CEHJF logo. The updated logo--in USC's signature cardinal and gold--represents a modern departure from the previous uninspiring text-based version.
The site's robust content is constantly updated, ensuring that CEHJF online remains a compelling destination. The revamped

Citrus integrated advanced content management functionality using Drupal, a powerful open source framework. CEHJF staff members are thus able to manage and update their new site with ease.
